Rules for SVY Classic
Bench:
- Bar has to hit chest
- Commands will be in use: start, press, rack
- Lifters are allowed a slight arch
- Lifters need to have flat feet
Squat:
- Lifters need to hit 90 degrees ATLEAST
- Commands: squat, rack
- No bouncing (Lifters may not drop the barbell during the upward movement and then attempt to re-lift the weight. Any downward movement of the bar after the ascent has begun will result in a no lift, per USAPL rules.)
- Flat shoes or lifters (squat shoes)
Deadlift:
- No hitching
- No required lockout, as long as bring the weight hip level.
- Don’t drop the weight, control the weight all the way down.
ALWAYS STAY WITH THE WEIGHT, THERE ARE SPOTTERS FOR YOU
Allowed gear:
Belts, wrist wraps, knee sleeves
Not allowed:
Elbow sleeves, eblow wraps, slingshot
