12th Annual Breakfast with Santa Brings Holiday Joy to Springfield

The 12th Annual Breakfast with Santa at the YMCA of Greater Springfield was a joyful celebration of community, generosity, and holiday magic. More than 700 children and their families joined us for a festive morning filled with magic and fun!

Families enjoyed a delicious breakfast of French toast and bacon, sipped on fancy hot chocolate, and took part in holiday games, crafts, and ornament decorating. Kids visited with Santa and Mrs. Claus, got toys and plushies to take home, and met some extra-special guests—including Boomer from the Springfield Thunderbirds, Buck the Dog from Country Bank, the Grinch, and Benny the Bowling Pin from Spare Time Bowling.

This beloved holiday tradition wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our community. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated toys, volunteered their time, packed toys, cut out snowflakes and snowmen, and sponsored this special event. Your generosity helped create a warm, welcoming morning that made the holidays so memorable for hundreds of local families.

We’re already counting down to next year—and feeling so grateful for the community that makes moments like this possible!
