CAMP SEASON ENDED WITH VOLUNTEER POWER!

Summer camp at the Y was filled with fun and adventure for hundreds of children each day. Campers enjoyed basketball, volleyball, archery, mountain biking, trail walking, arts & crafts, science projects, games, swimming, and so much more. But the best part was making new friends, reconnecting with old ones, and learning new things.

All good things must come to an end—at least for the season. While camp wrapped up on a Thursday, the next day was devoted to packing up and cleaning out after nine weeks of nonstop activity—because the following Monday marked the start of our before and after school programs.

With the help of PeoplesBank, games were packed, craft supplies organized, buildings cleaned and swept, and the last trash cans emptied. We are so grateful to the PeoplesBank volunteers who came to Camp Weber to help close out the season. Their time, energy, and muscle made for a much lighter load for our staff on the final day.

Thank you, PeoplesBank, for your continued support of the Y and our kids!
